Hi everyone! Today I'm gonna talk you about a website related to my career, that I like so much. So, you know I study Psychology, so this website is called "Psicología Infantil". As you can imagine, this space is mainly about parenting, and in addition to having an informative role, it fulfills an educational function, since it tries to generate awareness among its readers. This is done through examples of everyday situations, where they try to explain about certain behaviors of children mean, and the best way to deal with the different situations that arise in parenting, using explanatory texts, didactic images or even videos that represent daily episodes. What I value most about this platform is that they have a very important goal: to learn to understand children. To understand that they are people, that they have feelings, needs, and that their behavior responds to this, and not by mere "caprice" as one tends to say.
This site is managed by Álvaro Pallamares, Clinical Child Psychologist, Director of the International Early Intervention Center, Director of Communication and Networks of the America for Children Foundation and representative of the International Attachment Network in Chile. The site is on Facebook, so, actually, I do not usually visit this page directly, but their publications are appearing on my dashboard, which is very useful because every day I learn something new, and I nurture, within so many nonsense publications hovering on Facebook.
Well, this is the website link: https://www.facebook.com/pallamares/
